<hi style=afpcap>The McDonnell Douglas F-4G Advanced Wild Weasel, like Hollywood's Terminator, refuses to die. The bulged fairing atop the vertical fin, antennas on the fuselage spine, and distinctive nose shape are unique to the F-4G, which has the job of taking down an enemy's defensive missile radars. The Air Force wanted to get rid of the F-4G for cost reasons even after its superb performance in Operation Desert Storm. But no satisfactory replacement exists and Third World nations are bristling with missile systems. So the Idaho Air National Guard's 190th Fighter Squadron, 124th Fighter Group flies the F-4G and keeps it ready for deployment to hot spots.</hi>
